Danielle Wilde is Dementia Specialist at Royal Free London, and developed the CAPER programme.
CAPER delivers mandatory dementia training for staff at Royal Free London. It is designed to upskill all staff with patient contact on a hospital ward, including assistants and domestic staff to ensure that people with dementia receive the best possible care. In her own words, the programme demonstrates that ‘you don’t have to be the boss to be the leader.’
Danielle also shares why being a member of the NDAA is so important to her and her work.
