In this event Beth will talk about her experiences of care during the years her father was alive, how her dad’s life with dementia inspired the work she does now, and share what we can all do to ensure our loves ones receive the best care available.
As a former carer to her dad, who lived with vascular dementia for 19 years, Beth is vocal in her support for better care and increased scientific research into understanding the causes and finding better, more effective treatments for dementia.
Since her father died, Beth has become an award-winning writer (including authoring her own D4Dementia blog, in-demand social care consultant, trainer and mentor, and a leading campaigner for people living with dementia and their families.
