The National Dementia Action Alliance Annual Conference took place on Wednesday 6 February with more than 100 NDAA member attendees from across the dementia care and research sector.
The theme of the day was ‘Dementia Support and Research: The Power and Impact of Meaningful Engagement’. As a result a key focus of the day was learning from people living with dementia and carers who gave details of their own experiences and projects they had contributed to with NDAA members. The agenda also featured a session on working with national and local Government, an update on the 2020 Dementia Challenge and a series of workshops.
