Commitment 1 - Relating to:

Provide access to up to date information and advice from leading dementia organisations and experts.

 

How will your organisation achieve Commitment 1?

 

2 day event at Olympia London featuring a full conference programme across three theatres, a wide range of dementia & care exhibitors, practical activities and professional advice clinics.

  • We have the right to be respected, and recognised as partners in care, provided with education, support, services, and training which enables us to plan and make decisions about the future.

Commitment 2 - Relating to:

Providing access to leading organisations offering advice and information on the latest clinical trails as well as up to date information on ongoing research projects.

 

How will your organisation achieve Commitment 2?

 

The event will feature organisations including Alzheimer's Research UK and Re:Cognition Health discussing dementia research.

  • We have the right to know about and decide if we want to be involved in research that looks at cause, cure and care for dementia and be supported to take part.

Commitment 3 - Relating to:

To create a public platform for those with dementia to tell their inspiring stories.

 

How will your organisation achieve Commitment 3?

 

Offer speaking slots in the Alzheimer's Matters and Talks & Topics Theatres alongside a seat on the daily Question Time panels for individuals with dementia to share their experiences and lives they live today as well as answering questions from a public and professional audience.

  • We have the right to be recognised as who we are, to make choices about our lives including taking risks, and to contribute to society. Our diagnosis should not define us, nor should we be ashamed of it.
