Royal College of General Practitioners

RCGP is the professional membership body for GPs in the UK. Our purpose is to encourage, foster and maintain the highest possible standards in general medical practice. The College supports GPs through all stages of their career, from medical students considering general practice, through to training, qualified years and retirement. Our strategic plan; 'Great doctors, great care' sets out our four main objectives for the next three years: • shape the future of General Practice • ensure GP education meets the changing needs of UK primary care • grow and support a strong, engaged membership • be the voice of the GP (influence)
