Action Plan

This consultancy draws from the founder’s 25 years marketing and external affairs experience and 12 year’s Director experience, working in a variety of industries including 14 years with partners in the charity, health, housing, local government, care and technology sectors and 7 years’ in telecommunications.

Commitment 1 - Relating to:

I will support the Essex Dementia Challenge by being a judge, and mentor to candidates where required.

 

How will your organisation achieve Commitment 1?

 

By providing advice, lending my expertise over 14 years within this field, and making sure that the shortlisted candidates receive help and support.

  • We have the right to continue with day to day and family life, without discrimination or unfair cost, to be accepted and included in our communities and not live in isolation or loneliness.

Commitment 2 - Relating to:

Provide time to support the Alzheimer’s Society Grant Advisory Board

 

How will your organisation achieve Commitment 2?

 

By helping select the best candidates for research funding in order to support people living with dementia and their families.

  • We have the right to know about and decide if we want to be involved in research that looks at cause, cure and care for dementia and be supported to take part.

To revitalise work as a Dementia Friends Champion

Have refresher training and book some sessions

  • We have the right to be respected, and recognised as partners in care, provided with education, support, services, and training which enables us to plan and make decisions about the future.
