- Why is your organisation committed to the NDAA and the Dementia Statements?
Dementia remains a key priority for the Department of Health and Social Care. In February 2015, the 2020 Dementia Challenge was published and we remain committed to delivering it in full. By 2020, we want a society where every person with dementia, their families and carers, receive high quality, compassionate care, from diagnosis through to end of life. On 6 March 2016, we published the Implementation Plan to the 2020 Dementia Challenge. This sets out the actions that partners across health and care will take, to ensure commitments in the Challenge are delivered by 2020.
